I was commisioned to design a new YETI for one of the signature beers from Great Divide Brewing Co. These were the final two I submitted. The image has been used for T-Shirts and might actually make it to a beer label.

Here's some examples of my of my process. I usually start by thumbnailing many different poses, faces and bodies then once I start seeing something I like I refine it. You'll notice on the middle image I started 'seeing' the idea I liked and by the last image I had the final sketch. I scan that into the computer and bring it to a finish.

My favorite YETI is actually the one on the first page to the left... the one that looks like a chimpanzee on steroids.
